Call for rally in Esenyurt

ISTANBUL- Making a call for the rally to be held in Esenyurt Square, Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party member Ahmet Tuzun said that they will raise their voices against the unlawful practices of the government. 
 
DEM Party, Labour Movement Party (EHP), Labour Party (EMEP), Federation of Socialist Assemblies (SMF), Workers' Party of Turkey (TIP) and Social Freedom Party (TOP) will organise a rally on 25 October at Esenyurt Square with the slogan "To struggle together for bread, peace, justice and freedom". Co-chairs and chairpersons of the organising parties will deliver speeches at the rally, which will draw attention to the main problems faced by citizens in Turkey. Calls for participation in the rally continue throughout the province. 
 
CALL TO RAISE VOICE AGAINST LAWLESSNESS 
 
Ahmet Tuzun, Chair of the Organising Committee of the rally, stated that they will raise their voices against the ongoing ecological destruction, economic crisis and unlawfulness despite the process initiated by Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Expressing that they will raise their voices together as leftist and socialist parties against unjust and unlawful behaviour, Tuzun reminded that journalist Hakan Tosun was murdered and similar murders have increased and said that they will draw attention to these problems. 
 
Tuzun emphasized that peace and freedom are not only for Kurds but for all peoples and those who want justice. 
 
Stating that the pressures of the government continue in many directions, Tuzun said that they will be in the fields to get rid of all these situations in a period when workplace homicides, massacres of women and poverty are increasing. 
 
Tuzun called on the people of Istanbul to the rally they will organise in Esenyurt Square on 25 October.
