Amed Newroz ends with 'freedom' call
AMED - Newroz celebrations in Amed, where hundreds of thousands of people came together, ended with the slogan "Bijî Serok Apo".
Newroz celebrations were held in Newroz Park in Rezan (Bağlar) district of Amed (Diyarbakır) with the slogans "Rêbertiya Azad Civaka Demokratîk (Free Leader, Democratic Society)" and "Democratic Society for Freedom". Hundresd of thousands of people, mostly young people and women, filled the area. Lastly, the singer Rewşan took the stage during the celebrations.
The crowd danced for a long time and left the area with the slogans "Bijî Serok Apo".
