Haşim, who suffers from asthma as a result of his broken ribs, recently had a surgery.

Haşim who spoke to his family on the phone, stating that they can not access hygiene materials, said: "My hygiene materials like wet towels and paper tissues were confiscated during the search conducted this week. They are not giving us any hygiene materials despite the outbreak and they enter our wards with no masks and no gloves."

Mehmet Emin Gezer making a call for his siblings in prison, said his mother and father are also sick. Brother Gezer, who stated that they demand all prisoners benefit from the law proposal on execution equally, said: "The regulation is violating the principle of equality. Everyone should be equal before the law. If this law passes as it is now, thousands of prisoners like my siblings will be left to die. I am calling on to the Ministry of Justice, the government, you will not be able to carry through this if you don't change the law on execution."
