ANKARA - CHP's Erdal Aksünger who states that the AKP government is trying to overcome the stuck in foreign policy by attacking domestic politics, said the democracy alliance is as much a need as air and water.

Reaction keeps coming to the appointment of trustees to People's Democratic Party (HDP) Municipalities from all walks of life.

Republican People's Party (CHP) Council member Erdal Aksünger has also stated that the appointment of trustees is a political decision. Aksünger who states that there is a lack of judicial independence in Turkey, drew attention to the fact that the authority given to the Minister of Interrior to appoint trustees 'brazenly', according to his will is a wrong paradigm.Aksünger pointing out that the Supreme Board of Elections (YSK) made their research about all candidates before the March 31 elections and these people couln't have become candidates if there was a finalized sentence about them, said: "We are talking about a process that has not been rejected for once. Considering that these people has no finalized sentences, the appointment of trustees is against the law and against the constitution. It is ausurpation of rights and an usurpation of the will of the people."

Emphasizing that local governments should be strengthened, Aksünger said, 'Our people perceives the question of the autonomy requirement differently, but the autonomy requirement needs to be done as a requirement of democracy. There is a need for strengthening of democracy and representation. It is not possible to approve the decision about İzmir being made in Ankara."

Aksünger underlining that the people protected the democracy in June 23 elections, said the democracy alliance is a vital need like air and water. Aksünger stating that the alliance of democracy will grow further in the future, said: "It will be your turn someday no matter what. They will attack you one day. And the people of Turkey have seen so many times in the past 10 years that their turn had come."
