DİYARBAKIR - DİSK Regional Office which supports the 'Democratic Solution Rally' to be held in Diyarbakır, called on to the forces of democracy and labour to give voice to peace.
The Regional Representative of the Confederation of Revolutionary Trade Unions (DİSK) made a press statement at the DİSK / Genel-İş 2 Branch on the 'Democratic Solution Against War' rally to be held on July 22 in Diyarbakır Station Square.
DİSK regional representative Mehmet Şirin Gürbüz who participated in the press release, stating that war means pain and death, said as DİSK they are aiming at a world of peace and equality. Gürbüz who pointed out: "We as the organization of the labourers are carrying out a struggle for a world of a dignified life, an equal, free, democratic, secular and peaceful country", said the war shows its ugly face despite all of their efforts.
Gürbüz, who reminded the peace declaration issued by 305 NGOs under the leadership of the Regional Labour Democracy Platforms, said: "In this sense, we support the Democratic solution Against war rally in Amed on Monday, July 22 at Station Square and calling on to all labourers and democratic forces in the region to give voice to peace.
