AMED - The prosecutor, who prepared an indictment against DBP Amed Provincial Co-Chair Hayrettin Altun, affixed the police enquiry report "the issues were followed by our teams" and demanded up to 15 years in prison.

The indictment prepared by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office by copying the police enquiry report as it was, demanded that Altun be sentenced to 7 years, 6 months and 15 years in prison for allegedly being a "member of a terrorist organization". Diyarbakır 4th High Criminal Court accepted the indictment and set the date of February 2 for the first hearing.

The indictment included the statements of secret witnesses codenamed Firar, Hafız, Ezel, and Birdal Erol and Kezban Kuday. It was stated that an investigation was launched against Altun after the statements of 3 secret and 2 public witnesses, which were not directly related to Altun.

It was demanded that Altun, who was accused of "participating in organizational activities", be sentenced to prison terms ranging from 7 years, 6 months to 15 years.
