NEWS CENTER - The indictment prepared against HDP Deputy Semra Güzel was served by Anadolu Agency (AA) before it was uploaded to UYAP.

 

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Deputy, Semra Güzel, whose immunity has been lifted, was detained in Istanbul on September 2 as part of an investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and was arrested by the court she was brought to on September 3. The investigation was completed against Güzel, who was held in a cell in Marmara (Silivri) Prison, and the indictment was completed.

 

The indictment, prepared by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was published by Anadolu Agency (AA) before it was uploaded to UYAP. In the indictment, a prison sentence of 7 years, 6 months up to 15 years was requested for Güzel for "being a member of a terrorist organization".

 

The indictment was sent to the Ankara 22nd High Criminal Court, where the Kobanê Case was held against 108 politicians, including HDP former Co-Chairs and Central Executive Board (MYK) members.
