ANKARA - Stating that the Kurdish Question stood before politics as a fact that cost the country 100 years, HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan said: “We are the solution power, we have more to say. We will definitely overthrow the government that produces injustice every day.”
The 5th Great Congress of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) continues with great enthusiasm in Ankara Sports Hall, where tens of thousands flock from Serhat, Botan, Amed, Aegean and Marmara. HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan, who took the stage at the congress.
‘YOU ARE THE FORCE FOR CHANGE’
Starting her speech with long applause and slogans, Buldan said: “We showed that another Turkey is possible with the work we carried out in the parliament. With our women's struggle, which we grow every day, we have opened the ways and channels of equal representation in politics. As a women's party; We have transformed the women's opposition into the main force of our democratic politics. We have become the strongest voice of honorable peace politics everywhere, from the streets to the parliamentary rostrum. Based on all our resistance and struggle, we say that we have more to say, we are the solution, we are the power of change. That power is you. Our strength is our idea to have a say in every problem of the country and to find solutions. We know and see that everyone's expectations and hopes for the HDP are increasing day by day. Our growing alliance of democracy and our alliance with Kurdistan parties raises hope even more. For this, we will play our solution role in democratic politics in the strongest way possible. We will definitely transform this final period into a democratic victory for our peoples. We promise you once again. Of course, we will continue to add new achievements to our achievements.”
‘INSISTANCE IN ISOLATION IS A SERVICE TO SOLITION’
Drawing attention to ısolation on the leader of PKK Abdullah Öcalan, Buldan said: “As time moves forward , the AKP mentality insists on taking the country back with a policy of denial and suppression. The Kurdish Question, which has lost 100 years to this geography, stands before the country and politics as a reality. The deadlock of the Kurdish Question is one of the biggest obstacles to the democratization of the republic. Responding to the call of Mr. Öcalan, who said, 'I will eliminate the possibility of conflict in a week', with heavy isolation further aggravated the chaos of a deadlock. Persistence in isolation serves the mind of international deadlock and conspiracy that keeps Turkey under political and economic control with the Imrali system. This wrong path must be turned away as soon as possible and the isolation must be ended. Once again we say; It will not continue like this for another hundred years with the same pain.”
THE REALITY OF THE KURDISH QUESTION
Stating that Kurdish Question is a reality, Buldan said: “With war and anti-Kurdish domestic and foreign policy, you will not be able to eliminate the reality of the Kurdish Question and the gains of the Kurdish people. The Middle East and Syria will continue to be shaped not by your anti-Kurdish mentality, but by the will of unity of the Kurdish people and the democratic alliance they have established with the peoples they live together. The determination of the Kurdish people in democratic politics and the great struggle for democracy carried out shoulder to shoulder with the democratic forces of Turkey will certainly continue to be decisive in the common future of this country. Therefore, the way to a solution is dialogue and democratic negotiation on the basis of democratic consensus, free politics and universal law. The steps of the solution are equal citizenship, education in mother tongue, strong local democracy and removing all the damage caused by the judicial system. Solution location; Parliament is the ground for dialogue and political consensus.”
