HESEKÊ - Clashes that broke out in Hesekê after the attack on the prison by ISIS members to kidnap their members continue.

 

After the ISIS attack against the Xiwêran Prison in Hesekê yesterday, the operation launched by the Anti-Terror Forces around Zihûr Neighborhood and Xiwêran Prison continues. Journalist Nazım Daştan, who has been following the developments in the region where the clashes take place, stated that ISIS carried out an attack in the Xiwêran region at around 21.00 yesterday evening.

 

Daştan said, "ISIS carried out an attack in the area where the ISIS cells are located, to free the ISIS members who are in prison. As you can see, the clashes continue. The clashes that started last night with the intervention of the SDF continue."

 

Noting that smoke has been rising from the Xiwêran region, Daştan said, "According to the latest information, some ISIS members have spread to the Xiwêran region. There are ongoing clashes at the area."

 

It was noted that ANHA reporter Basil Reşid, who was following the conflict, was also injured mildly and he is in good condition.
