ŞIRNAK – When the tents set up in front of Diyarbakır HDP Provincial building failed, AKP tried a similar provocation in Şırnak. A grıup of women under the lead of AKP Women's Branch President Hatice Atan coming together from different cities, tries to provocate HDP in front of HDP Şırnak Provincial building.

Hatice Atan, who introduced herself as the spiritual daughter of Tayyip Erdogan and the head of AKP Women's Branch, organized a march with a group of women gathered from surrounding provinces such as Batman, Mardin and Siirt on Thursday, September 10, and attempted a provocation in front of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) provincial building. AKP women protesting the sit-in organized by HDP MP Hasan Özgüneş against forest fires, reminds of the 'initiative' in front of HDP Diyarbakır Provincial building.

Atan, whose name is mentioned with all kinds of corruption, bribery, appointment-relocation and tender arrangement, carried a number of women whom she summoned from different cities. HDP Şırnak MP Nuran İmir, Provincial Co-Chairs Sabahattin Deniz and Sabuha Akdağ called on these women not to be a tool for such provocations.

THEY GOT ANGRY WHEN THEY FAILED

Stating that this thing organized by Atan is a provocation, MP Nuran İmir said: "Those who entered our cities with tanks and heavy weapons since 2015, those who implement their dirties war policies on us and failed is trying to surrender HDP and the Kurdish people with new dirty provocations." Stating that they got angry because their attempts for provocation failed, İmir said: "They are very angry at the people of Şırnak and HDP, which is the hope of the people, because they are failing. Because we don't submit to these provocations." İmir said the people of Şırnak will not be provoked by these cheap games."

'THIS IS ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO CRIMINALIZE OUR PARTY'

Stating that this is an attempt to criminalize HDP, Provincial Co-Chair Sabuha Akdağ said: "They wanted to drown out the noise we make against forest fires. But a successful result was not achieved, because our voices were louder. This provocation attempt will continue every Thursday in front of our provincial building. We, as the HDP provincial organization, will stop these provocations with our people every Thursday in front of our party building. They are trying to criminalize our party. We will not allow this. This group was brought in from outside. None of them were from Şırnak. We will continue to fight against these provocation as long as they are here trying to provocate us. We will stand against these provocations until the end."

'THEY ALL HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A DUTY'

Emphasizing that they know the organizers of this provocation, HDP Provincial Co-Chair Sabahattin Deniz said: "Everyone knows that AKP government is not doing so well these days. They are doing all that in their power to frustrate us. Hatice Atan defines herself as the spiritual daughter of Erdoğan. She is a salaried employee of Special Provincial Administration. She is also used by AKP in various other fields. This person is the root of all provocations. Apart from this, a meeting was held by the Ministry of Interior with the participation of certain businessmen in Şırnak, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the AKP Women's Branch, the AKP Provincial Presidency and the Mayor. In this meeting, certain tasks were assigned to everyone. After that, we learned that they tried to provoke us by making press statements in front of our provincial building on certain days of the week."
