MERSİN - Azadiya Welat Newspaper Editor İsmail Çoban, who is being held in Tarsus Prison stated that 5 prisoners were diagnosed with coronavirus and they are not being treated.

 

Azadiya Welat Newspaper Editor İsmail Çoban from Mersin Tarsus No 3 Type T Closed Prison told to his family on the phone yesterday that 5 prisoners in Tarsus Prison were diagnosed with coronavirus and they are not being treated.

 

Stating that the prisoners are in critical condition, Çoban said: "Our friends have been fighting for their lives for the last two weeks but the prison administration is doing nothing. Our health is seriously compromised. We are exposed to serious right violations here. We may not be talking to you on the phone next week."
