Speaking at the public meeting, DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır said, "As long as the Kurdish issue is not solved under the leadership of Mr Öcalan, everywhere is struggle and resistance for us." DBP Co-Chair Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar said, "The solution is clear, open the gates of İmralı and ensure the freedom of Mr Öcalan."
DEM Party council members who were prevented from entering the municipality after the appointment of a trustee to Êlih Municipality said that they will resist against the trustee policies.
DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır, recall Abdullah Öcalan's message on the solution of the Kurdish issue and said: "We believe that the time has come and the ground has been created. This historical opportunity should be utilised on the right basis."
DEM Party's proposal to provide Kurdish language service on aeroplanes and free internet to homes was rejected by AKP-MHP votes.
Speaking at her party's women's group meeting, DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları drew attention to violence against women and said, “We can cope with this by organizing and fighting. We have no other option other than that.”

DEM Party and CHP MPs unfurled banners reading “Trusteeship is a coup against the will of the people” at the Parliament's Plan and Budget Commission.
