For 24 days bodies of HPG members not handed over to families

NEWS CENTER - The bodies of Mine Sevjin Alçiçek and Ali Örek, who lost their lives in the protest against TUSAŞ, have not been handed over to their families for 24 days. It is learned that the prosecutor responded to the lawyers applying on behalf of the families as “I don't know where they are”. 

HPG members Mine Sevjin Alçiçek (Asya Ali) and Ali Örek (Rojger Hêlin) lost their lives in the protest against Turkish Aerospace Industries inc. (TUSAŞ) in Ankara on October 23. The bodies of Alçiçek and Örek have not been given to their families for 24 days. The families of Alçiçek and Örek gave blood samples in their cities to receive the bodies. Then the families went to Ankara. On behalf of the families, the lawyers met with the prosecutor and demanded to receive the bodies and were told, "I do not know where the bodies are. They may be in Istanbul for autopsy procedures. If we get information about their whereabouts, we will let you know."
