NEWS CENTER - Xwebûn newspaper carried the Halabja Massacre as its headline in its 221st issue.

 

The 221st issue of the weekly Kurdish newspaper Xwebûn, "Lekeya 36 serran a sîyaye (36 years of black mark)" was published. The newspaper's headline drew attention to the Halabja Massacre, which took place 36 years ago. One of the editors of the newspaper, Dr. Ismet Konak's analysis of Halabja appeared on the Kirmanckî page of the newspaper.

 

The newspaper's headline read: "Jin, Jîyan, Azadî hêzê dide jinan (Woman, Life, Freedom gives strength to women)".
