ANKARA - Journalist-writer Hüseyin Aykol, who was intubated after a brain haemorrhage, has started antibiotic treatment due to an infection in his lungs.
The treatment of journalist-writer Hüseyin Aykol, who suffered a cerebral haemorrhage at his home in Ankara on 14 October and had a second brain haemorrhage at Sincan Training and Research Hospital, continues in the intensive care unit.
Aykol's treatment in the intensive care unit continued on the 9th day and antibiotic treatment was started due to the infection in his lungs. Aykol was transferred from the intensive care unit in the operating theatre to the general intensive care unit. Doctors stated that Aykol is unconscious and his life is still in danger and that he continues to be anaesthetised to reduce the infection.
