AMED - The declaration for the rally to be held in Amed on 8 February with the slogan "Freedom for Peace" was announced. Stating that the gangrenous problmes must be solved, it is stated, "Let's ensure freedom together."

 

A statement was made by the Organising Committee regarding the "Freedom for Peace" rally to be held on 8 February at İstasyon Square in Amed, at Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Amed (Diyarbakır) provincial building.

 

DEM Party Provincial Co-Chair Abbas Şahin stated that the problems in the Middle East geography, which have been unresolved for a century, have become gangrene for a century. Abbas Şahin said, "Peoples must now be together for honourable peace. These problems have become intolerable. The problems that have accumulated for a century and have become gangrenous must now be solved."

 

'LET'S ENSURE FREEDOM TOGETHER'

 

Stating that an honourable peace must be supported by the parties and interlocutors on equal terms and by the people, Abbas Şahin said, "A democratic solution to the Kurdish issue requires negotiations on free and equal terms. The conditions for this must also be created. We will organise a rally in Amed with the slogan of freedom for peace. We need to work together with our people in Amed to create the conditions for peace. For the rally on 8 February, we invite all our people to both the rally and the work. Let's ensure freedom and peace together."
