HDP Spokesperson Günay: Operation is AKP-MHP's fear of losing

AYDIN - Stating that the operation against party administrators, lawyers, artists and journalists is the fear of AKP-MHP losing the election, HDP Spokesperson Ebru Günay said: "We will hold accountability on May 14."
 
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Spokesperson Ebru Günay made a statement regarding the detention of 110 people, including politicians, lawyers, artists and journalists, during house raids in 21 cities based in Amed(Diyarbakır). Günay, who made a statement at the party building in Aydın's Nazilli district, where he was within the scope of election activities, said that the operation was the fear of losing the election.
 
'AKP-MHP'S FEAR OF LOSS'
 
Stating that during the operation, his party's Co-Chairperson in Charge of Organization Özlem Gündüz and Co-Spokesperson of the Organization Commission Mahfuz Güleryüz and 110 people, including lawyers, artists and journalists, were detained, Günay said: “This is revenge for the AKP-MHP government's loss on the way to the elections. Our lawyer friends are our friends who work in election security, they are our friends who will provide security at the ballot boxes. Active journalists, artists, all of our friends are our friends who are exposing the dirtiness and fascism of the AKP-MHP government on the field and working and struggling on this issue. "The AKP-MHP carried out a morning operation out of fear of losing power."
