'We will keep resisting with our bodies'

ADANA- İsmail Kocaman who is on a hunger strike with 5 of his friends in Bolu Type F Closed Prison, said 'Isloation is a crime against humanity, we will keep resisting with our bodies.' in a letter he sent to his family.
 
The hunger strike initiated by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven have left behind 100 days. The hunger strikes of the political prisoners are continuing in different prisons.
 
 
Kocaman who met with his family in the open visitation on February 6, said the prison administration was not giving them vitamin B1 but they managed to persuade them with their determination.
 
 
Kocaman who said their morale is high, made a call to the public through his family and said: "Isolation is a crime against humanity.We will keep resisting with our bodies until this is over.Our hunger strike will continue until the isolation is terminated. The isolation imposed on Mr. Öcalan is a political decision and not legal.We are calling on to the caring society to make an effort on this subject."
 
Kocaman's father Hasan Kocaman announced that they started a protest around all hunger strikers as their families.
 
Kocaman who called on to the authorities, said they want the demands to be met. Kocaman who said they think about the hunger strikers all day, said:"We can not eat thinking about them.The demands must be met before coffins start to get out of the prisons.There is no legal barrier about terminating the isolation.Hunger strikers must not die.All the families of the hunger strikers and the caring society must come together and so something about these legitimate demands."
