ANKARA- HDP Parliamentarian Meral Danış Beştaş who underlined that Turkey is far away from offering the minimum living facilities to the asylum seekers and refugees, demanded a parliamentary inquiry regarding the problems of the asylum seekers and the refugees.

 

People's Democratic Party(HDP) Siirt Parliamentarian Meral Danış Beştaş, demanded a parliamentary inquiry for the purpose of investigation and detection of the problems experienced by the refugees and the asylum seekers in connection with the United Nations (UN) International Migrants Day.

  

The subjects mentioned are: the geographical limitations imposed on the refugees which makes them migrate to Europe running the risk of death on the way, the lack of refugee laws in Turkey, Syrians being used for cheap labour and the sexual harrasments and assaults on refugee women and children.
