MÊRDÎN/AMED - The bodies of Özgür Ay and İslam Ölçay, who lost their lives in the air attack in the Bagok Mountain region, were buried in Amed and Nisêbîn.
In the air attack carried out in the region on December 27, located in the rural area of Bagok Mountain in Nisêbîn (Nusaybin) district of Mêrdîn. Özgür Ay and İslam Ölçay, who were said to be HPG members, lost their lives in the air attack. The bodies of Ay and Ölçay were handed over to their families. And Ölçay's body was taken to Amed for burial.
THE FUNERAL CEREMONY OF AY WAS HELD IN HIS VILLAGE
Ay's body was taken by his relatives and taken to Nisêbîn (Nusaybin) district. The body, which was taken to the district under intense police blockade, was taken to Mohris cemetery by his relatives. Ay's funeral was sent off to its final journey with a ceremony in which family members were allowed to attend, despite the police blockade.

The other, unrecognizable body, which is stated to be registered with the population of Northern and Eastern Syria and whose name was announced as Lokman Muhammed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is held in the morgue.
FUNERAL CEREMONY OF ÖLÇAY WAS HELD IN HIS VILLAGE
The body of HPG member Ölçay, was brought to Mermer village in Sur district of Amed. After the body was brought to the village, the village entrance and the cemetery surroundings were blockaded by hundreds of soldiers. After religious ceremony were fulfilled in the village mosque, Ölçay's body was buried in a mass at midnight.
