AMED - Amed Metropolitan Municipality Rural Development Department announced that an area of 66 kilometers was affected by the fire, according to the detection made via satellite.
 
Amed (Diyarnakır-Kurdistan) Metropolitan Municipality Rural Development Department stated that the fire, which was thought to be caused by electrical wires in the Tobini rural neighborhood of Çinar (Xana Axpar) district, affected an area of 66 kilometers with its satellite detection. 
 
It was stated that the fire was advancing under the influence of the wind in the region, which has large agricultural lands. It was stated that in the area damaged by the fire, there are agricultural lands where grain products such as wheat, barley, lentils and chickpeas are planted, and trees such as olives in the maquis vegetation grow. It was also reported that the region is home to many animal and plant species.
