Güven: They will not be able to make politics without Kurds

DİYARBAKIR - Speaking at the congress of Diyarbakır Provincial Organization of DBP, DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven said, “No one will be able to make politics ignoring the Kurds from now on. They came back from Geneva, Sochi, Astana. They will come back from wherever they go without Kurds."

Democratic Regions Party Diyarbakır Provincial Organization have completed its 5th congress under the slogan "We are walking towards the free society with the spirit of national unity". 
 
Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-Chair Leyla Güven, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz, Peoples' Democratic Party MP's and party members, Free Women's Movement (TJA) activists and many delegate from other political parties and sivil society organizations attended the congress.
 
After the stand in silence, DBP Provincial Co-Chair Garip Kandemir spoke at first by first protesting the February 15 international conspiracy against Öcalan. Kandemir also stated that İmralı isolation system pushes Middle East into the chaos and said, "The women and men of Kurdistan fought against this cruelty and still fighting. They have declared war in order to disregard the Kurdish will, but Kurdish resistance wasted the conspiracy. Government tries to guarantee his existence with the destruction of the Kurds. Kurds shall unite against his. We should waste this conspiracy by getting together."
 
'WE ARE THE GRAND CHILDRE OF ŞÊX SAİD'
 
DTK Co-Chair Leyla Güven took the stand afterwards as the begins her speech by protesting the conspiracy against Öcalan stating that this conspiracy is not only aiming Öcalan: "Many leaders of the Kurds have been hung and imprisoned. When Şêx Said had been sent to scaffold to be hung, he said, 'You can hang us now, but our grandchildren will stand up against you.'. We are his grand children. They thought Kurds will come to an end when they imprison Öcalan. However thousands of people have stood up."
 
'NATIONAL UNITY AGAINST THE ATTACKS'
 
Güven continued her speech as follows: "Against the attacks to the Kurds, national unity must be achieved. We can struggle via national unity. Our first aim should be national unity. We should come together with a spirit of togetherness and unity. AKP-MHP alliance have increased their cruelty in order to survive. Their reputation is on the ground. 15 members of our party are imprisoned. Our pary members have faced tens of years of penalties. Which party can survive after such attacks? If we fill this hall today despite all the attacks, that means we will win. This imprisonments would not stop us. Victory is ours."
 
'WITHOUT THE KURDS, THEY WILL ALWAYS GO BACK'
 
Emphasizing Kurds are standing and fighting for a national unity despite all the attacks of AKP-MHP alliance Güven continued her speech as follows: "National unity rises up and Kurds no longer want to live with a status. We will gain our status despite Erdoğan and Bahçeli and Kılıçdaroğlu. We will achieve this together with our people. The circmstances are adequate for us. Embrace our institutions. 2020 is the year we achieve to gain our status. From now on, no one will be able to make politics ignoring the Kurds from now on. They came back from Geneva, Sochi, Astana. They will come back from wherever they go without Kurds.The reputation of Turkey is over. The ones like Erdoğan have come and gone, but our people have remained. They will come back from wherever they go without Kurds. Kurds are the people who are one of the most united, most organized and consciouss of their rights. We will achieven together with our people. Whatever we face today, the end will be perfect."
 
'ISOLATION IS IMPOSED ALL OVER'
 
DBP Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz stated, "they wanted to create a Turkey which is ruled by fascism by the help of the law of war. All over the place in Kurdistan isolation is imposed. In person of Öcalan, people of Middle East are imposed isolation. We should rise against this isolation all together. Not our personal benefit, but we should consider the benefit of our people. Kurds shall unite."
 
After the speeches, Seval Gülmez and Mehmet Bakır were elected as the new co-chairs of DBP Diyarbakır.
