MARDİN - Our reporter Ahmet Kanbal who was taken under custody in Mardin and released after 2 days, stating that he was taken under custody in line with the decision of those who prevent him from entering the municipality building, said that a minute was written about him for whistling and the articles he wrote was asked.

 

 

Our reporter Ahmet Kanbal who was detained by the police in Mardin on July 13, was released by the court yesterday with judicial control decision and a ban to travel abroad.

 

 

Kanbal stated that the detention order was taken by those who gave instructions not to let him in the municipality building. Kanbal said: "I wrote to the governership the day before and asked the reason for the prohibition of my entering the municipality building. This detention order was to justify their instruction to not to let me in. They knew I went for depositions if they asked me to. They did not need to raid my place and take me into custody."

 

 

Kanbal finalized his words by saying : "They didn't have enough evidence to arrest me, appearantly but they are trying to threaten me into leaving Mardin. That will not happen. I am going nowhere."
