Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Parliamentary Deputy Chair and member of the İmralı Delegation Sirri Sureyya Onder's treatment in the intensive care unit of Florence Nightingale Hospital continues on the 7th day. A large number of party members, including İmralı Delegation member Pervin Buldan, and Onder's family continued to wait at the hospital today. 

 

Istanbul Bar Association Chair Ibrahim Kabouglu and members of the executive board of the bar association, former SHP and CHP MP Algan Hacaloglu, Turkish Labour and Social Security Minister Nihad Matkap, Saturday Mothers/People, former Dîlok (Antep) Municipality Mayor Celal Dogan, journalists Nevzat Cicek and Mehmet Metiner and many others visited the hospital today. Pervin Buldan, DEM Party Spokesperson Aysegul Dogan and other party members welcomed the visitors. 

 

Making a brief statement about Onder's condition after the visit, Ibrahim Kaboglu said, "The stable condition continues with the language of physicians. Again, from a physician's point of view, this is a positive situation. We maintain our hope. This hope is the hope of all Turkey. Mr Sirri Sureyya has always resisted, is resisting and will resist. We will never lose hope."

 

Former European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) judge Riza Turmen and Rakel Dink, wife of murdered journalist Hrant Dink, also called Pervin Buldan and wished a speedy recovery for Onder.
