The celebrations in Newroz Park, located on the skirts of the historical Wan Castle, continue with all the enthusiasm. In the celebrations organised with the slogans "Rêbertiya Azad Civaka Demokratîk (Free Leader, Democratic Society)" and "Democratic Society Newroz for Freedom", Arhat took the stage. 

 

Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-chair Keskin Bayındır said, "There are posters of Mr Öcalan in this area, but we want to see him here physically. With the statement of the Kurdish People's Leader, the era has now turned into the era of the Kurdish people. They should know that this arrow is out of the bow and no one can stand in front of it. Their calculations will not hold. Look at this square, will this square step back? Öcalan's call must be answered. Mr Öcalan has taken a great responsibility, but the people also have a great responsibility. We are hopeful. We are close to our status and freedom. If there is to be peace, the ground for this is status. We are hopeful of Mr Öcalan. He will ensure the freedom and peace of this country."
