The Office of the Rescued Yazidi Captives announced the number of Yazidis who were slaughtered and whose fate could not be reached again in the edict carried out by DAESH against the Yazidi people on 3 August 2014. The office stated that these numbers are limited to those whose identity information has been identified. According to the statement made by the office, at least 5 thousand people wree massacred and 2 thousand 745 children were orphaned. While 96 mass graves were identifies, it was pointed out that there were graves that could not be identified. 

 

It was pointed out that 3 thousand 448 of the 6 thousand 317 people abducted were men and 2 thousand 869 were women. It was stated that out of a total of 3 thousand 558 people rescued from DAESH, 1 thousand 211 were women, 339 were men; 1 thousand 47 were girls and 961 were boyts. The number of people who were captured and then massacred, identified in mass graves and whose bodies were handed over to their families was 274.

 

237 of them were men and 37 of them were women. The number of those who were identified as massacred but whose fate could not be reached is 2 thousand 558. It was noted that 1 thousand 225 of them are women and 1 thousand 333 of them are men.
