ŞIRNEX - A march was organised in Hezex district of Şirnex province against the attacks on North and East Syria with the message "This is not the way to a solution".

A march was organised in Hezex (İdil) district of Şirnex (Şırnak) against the attacks against North and East Syria. Many people participated in the march organised under the leadership of Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). During the march that started at Barış Park and continued until the DEM Party District Organisation building, the slogan "Bijî berxwedana Rojava (Long live resistance of Rojava)" was frequently chanted.

'THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO SOLUTION'

Speaking in the statement made after the march, DEM Party Şirnex Provincial Co-Chair Abdullah Güngen said, "The people of Rojava are under a great attack. We condemn these dirty policies of the AKP-MHP government. We condemn the attacks against the gains of the Kurdish people. They will not win with this approach and policies. This is not the way to a solution. Civilian, women and child deaths will not win you."

DEM Party Şirnex MP Newroz Uysal Aslan said that Turkey is doing its best to eliminate the Rojava Revolution. Newroz Uysal Aslan said, "The Turkish government could not leave Rojava breathless despite all its attacks. Our people are on resistance watch in Tishreen and Qereqozak to protect and defend themselves there. These ongoing attacks are neither in accordance with the rules of international law nor with the Kurdish-Turkish brotherhood."

Pointing to the talks with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Newroz Uysal Aslan added, "We have heard the voice of Mr Abdullah Öcalan, but we do not see any response to his calls. As long as these calls are not responded to, as long as the isolation continues, we will continue to struggle."

PIRSÛS
A march was organised in Pirsûs (Suruç) district of Riha (Urfa) under the leadership of Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) and Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA).
