KOBANÊ - Kobanê people greeted the protests organized in Northern Kurdistan against the attacks against North adn East Syria at the border and gives the message "Kurdistan is one".
The people of Kobanê greeted the protests agianst Turkey's attacks on North and East Syria at the border between Kobanê and Qamishlo. The statement made at the Kobanê-Pirsûs (Suruç) border was attended by many Kobanê people as well as politicians.
Speaking at the statement, Ferhan Hec Îsa, co-chair of Fırat Canton Executive Council said, "The resistance of Kobanê resonated all over the world. With the Kobanê resistance, Kurds from all over Kurdistan came together and fought together. Kurdistan is not four parts, it is one. The resistance that emerged in 2014 was the spirit of the peoples of Kurdistan. This spirit made borders meaningless."
Ferhan Hec Îsa saluted the struggle of the peoples of Northern Kurdistan against the attacks on North and East Syria and said, "The sacrifice and resistance of our northern people is the guarantee of the freedom of Kobanê. Our northern people have buried many of their sons and daugters for Kobanê before. Kurdish people are one. The days of victory are near."
The statement ended with the slogans "Bijî berxwedana gele Bakûr (Long live resistance of North)", "Bijî berxwedana Rojava (Long live resistance of Rojava)".
