Director Tekin acquits

ANKARA - An acquittal decision was made in the case filed against director Sibel Tekin on the allegation of "being a member of a terrorist organization".
 
The decision hearing of the case filed against documentary director Sibel Tekin on the grounds of "being a member of a terrorist organization", citing the images she shot for the documentary "Life Beginning in the Dark", was held at Ankara 26th High Criminal Court. Tekin and her lawyers attended the hearing. Representatives of non-governmental organizations also attended the hearing and watched.
 
'ACCLUSION DECISION'
 
Tekin and her lawyer Mehtap Sakinci said that they did not have any statements regarding the documents received. The prosecution requested an acquittal. The court decided to acquit.
