7 prisoners been on hunger strike for 3 days in Tarsus Prison

MERSIN - 7 prisoners in Tarsus No. 2 Type T Prison started a hunger strike due to the violations of rights and ill-treatment in the prison.
 
Özkan Yalçın, Mazlum Gök, Mehmet Halis Saykan, Cengiz Dere, Kadri Ezer, Azad Taş and Emrah Deniz, who have been imprisoned in Tarsus No. 2 Type T Prison, have been in prison since July 9 due to rights violations and ill-treatment. It was learned that they were on a hunger strike.
 
The Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) Mersin Branch stated that they will go to prison to find out the situation.
