NEWS CENTER – The Iranian regime poured concrete over the graves of those buried in Rezvan Garden Cemetery, one of the places where people killed during the protests were laid to rest, so that they would not be recognized.

Iranian regime forces poured concrete over the graves in plot 20 of Rezvan Garden Cemetery in the city of Rasht, where hundreds of people killed during the protests are buried, including some whose identities could not be determined. While the number of graves covered with concrete could not be identified, it is stated that the concrete was poured to prevent the identification of who the graves belong to.

It is reported that in the said cemetery, where hundreds of people killed during the protests and still unidentified are buried, many of those laid to rest do not have gravestones or registered grave locations. Due to the thickness of the poured concrete, many families are said to be unable to identify the graves.

Following the pouring of the concrete, several families wrote the names of their children on the wet concrete poured over their graves immediately after the teams left the area, so that their children’s graves would not be lost.
