İSTANBUL - Police officers in Eyüp took a young man into custody with rear-handcuffing as they first attacked and beat him.
Another incident of police and guardian violence, which is a recently increasing phenomenon, occured in İstanbul. In a site in the Cumhuriyet Neighborhoou in Eyüp, police attacked and took a teenager into custody. The moments that the the boy was beaten up by the police were video-recorded by another citizen's mobile phone, who witnessed the moments of police violence. The young man was taken into custody on the ground that he violated the Covid-19 curfew.
In the footages, it is seen that the cops handcuff the hands of the teenager from behind, pushing him down on the ground. As the teenager shouts "Your hurt me", the police seems not to care.
