‘Framework law’ bill passes Parliament

ANKARA - The “Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration” bill was approved by a majority vote following debates in the General Assembly.
 
The “Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration” bill, drafted as part of the Peace and Democratic Society Process, was approved by a majority vote after being debated in the General Assembly.
 
A total of 562 MPs took part in the electronic vote, with 468 voting in favor, 88 against and six abstaining. The “Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration” bill was subsequently passed by the General Assembly.
 
The General Assembly was adjourned following the vote.
