RIHA - Eight people were detained during a march in Wêranşar (Viranşehir) district of Riha (Urfa) against attacks on Rojava.

 

Led by the Platform of Democratic Institutions, thousands protested in the district of Wêranşar against attacks on Rojava by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), ISIS and groups affiliated with Turkey. After the march on Karacadağ Street, police attacked the crowd and detained 8 people.

 

It was learned that those detained were taken to the provincial police headquarters for questioning.
