Police raid on Doğubeyazıt HDP building: Co-chairs detained

AĞRI - Police raided the HDP Doğubayazıt District Organization building. HDP District Co-chairs Abdullah Ekelik and Gönül Öztürk were detained.

Police carried out a raid on the houses of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) District co-chairs Abdullah Ekelik and Gönül Öztürk in Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı. Both co-chairs were detained. Later, the police raided the HDP District Organization building. While the police blockaded the street where the building is located, the search continues.
 
It was learned that the co-chairs who were taken to the District Police Department were accused of "being a member of a terrorist organization" and "propagandizing a terrorist organization".
