BATMAN- 321 prisoners are on hunger strike in over 60 prisons with the demand of terminating the isolation. The relatives of the hunger strikers said that the prisoners said: "We will multiply until our demands are met".
The hunger strike of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Leyla Güven who is protesting the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is continuing on its 104th day. 321 prisoners are continuing their hunger strike in over 60 prisons with the demand of terminating the isolation. The hunger strikes of HDP Hewlêr representative Nasır Yağız, the hunger strikers in Strasburg, and İmam Şiş in Galler is continuing as well. The relatives of the hunger strikers said that their only demand is the termination of the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan, and requested their demand to be met. The relatives of the hunger strikers emphasized that the call is not only for the Kurdish community but also for Turkish community and that the termination of isolation will help both communities.
