Teke who stated that they conveyed their demands to the ministry and waiting for a responce, said: "Our children will not end the hunger strike until the isolation in İmralı is terminated. 30 of our children are on a death fast. We can recieve bad news any moment now. 8 people lost their to draw attention to the same demand. We can not sit and wait for the death of our children. We are mothers. We are here for our sons and daughters. We will not leave here until our demand is met. If the Ministry of Justice gives us an appointment 3 of us will go see him. If he doesn't, we will wait there. This is the furthest we could come. One of my daughters set her body on fire to protest the isolation. I don't want to lose my son to the hunger strike. This is my most natural right."
