HDP's Orhan: Criminals hiding behind AKP are acquitted

VAN - TJA members sending cards to the female prisoners in prisons within the scope of March 8 activities made a statement regarding the abuse case in the city. Muazzez Orhan from HDP, reading the statement on behalf of the women, said criminals hiding behind the shield of AKP are acquitted from their crimes.

Many women including Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van MP Muazzez Orhan met at the HDP building and went to the Central Post Office. The women sent their post cards to the women in prisons in scope of the March 8 activities.
 
The women who came to the HDP building after sending their cards, made a statement regarding the first hearing of the case where E.B is tried for child abuse at Van 1st High Criminal Court. 
 
'IMPUNITY ENCOURAGES CRIME'
 
HDP MP Muazzez Orhan said the judiciary once again proved its ruled by the 'one man' regime. Orhan emphasizing that the abused child had to appear at court and give their statement, said this is putting the child true the same trauma once again.  Orhan reminding that the attorneys from Van Bar Association Children's Commission were removed from court by the judge when they objected, said impuntiy encourages these people to continue committing crimes.
 
'GOVERNMENT IS THE PARTNER IN CRIME'
 
Also mentioning that the accused E.B stated that he was an AKP member in his defense, Orhan said: "In this country every thief, mugger, rapist uses being a member of AKP as their shield to be acquitted from any crime they commit. The government who paved the way for this is a partner in crime."
