Peace Mothers from Iran: We must struggle until Öcalan is free

DİYARBAKIR - Peace mothers coming from the Kurdistan District of ıran, visited Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy  Leyla Güven who is on hunger strike for 185 days against the isolation in İmralı.

The women visited Güven, made a press statement afterwards. HDP Diyarbakır Deputy Saliha Aydeniz and Free Women's Movement Ayşe Gökkan accompanied  the mothers. 
 
 
'A KURDISH WOMEN LEADS THE RESISTANCE'
 
 
Sînor Hûseyîn who read the press statement in the name of the women, stating that they are representing the Peace Mothers of the Kurdistan District of ıran, said most of the mothers could not make it because of the prevention. Sînor Hûseyîn who stated that Leyla Güven is leading the struggle of the women, said: "Leyla Güven, a Kurdish woman, a mother, leads our struggle. This is a very impostant struggle for the mothers who lost their children.
 
 
'THE STRUGGLE BEGAN WITH THE WOMEN'
 
Sînor Hûseyîn who underlined that every single Kurdish woman must clain the resistance of Leyla Güven, saiad: "Women always lead the way in the Kurdish liberation movement. Thi sstruggle started with women, and will grow up with the women.
 
 
'WE MUST STRUGGLE UNTIL ÖCALAN IS FREE'
 
Sînor Hûseyîn who called on to the government to apply the laws, said: "Everyone must give their voices to the hunger strikers. We must struggle for the immediate termination of the isolation and keep struggling until Mr. Öcalan is free."
