RAKKA: MSD Co-Chair Emine Umer ensured the news about the negotiations with Damascus were brought to an end is baseless, and they did not have it in their agenda.

Democratic Syrian Council (MSD) Co-chair Emine Umer spoke upon their dialogue with Damascus. Umer, stating the television broadcasting from Federal Kurdistan District claiming the negotiations have brought to an end is bending the truth, and they are still negotiating.

NEGOTIATIONS IN PROGRESS

Umer emphasizing that the article does not have no foundation, stated both sides negotiating on many subjects.

Umer emphasized that all nerves should be strained in order to solve the crisis in Syria and bringing the negotiations to an end is definitely not on their agenda.

DAMASCUS GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE TRANSPARENT

Umer inviting the Damascus government to transparency added: “We are going through a very unique process. Our people needs a common life. All sides should take responsibility to make it happen. Doing the same mistakes will not solve the problems. We have to consider different ways, that’s how we solve this permanently.”

NEGOTIATIONS ARE ONGOING

Umer commented on the statement broadcasted in Rudaw: "The news about the negotiations brought to an end does not reflect the truth. The interview with our spokesman were distorted. We are still in contact. We are still negotiating on both side's request.”
