The hunger strikers in Tarsus Prison are deteriorating 2019-05-13 11:45:46 DİYARBAKIR - According to the information obtained, some prisoners who started the hunger strike at different dates are deteriorating.  According to the information obtained, some prisoners who started the hunger strike demanding the termination of the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, at different dates are deteriorating. The prison administration learned to prevent the prisoners from accessing their needs. Halef Yiğit and Murat Karaaslan joined the hunger strike on January 5; Erkan Taşkan, Veysi Denizhan and İhsan Taşdelen joined the hunger strike on January 12. Yiğit, said those hunger strikers are deteriorating fast in a phone call he made with his family.   Yiğit told his family that Taşkan has blood coming from his nose and suffers from dizziness, Taşdelen has swelling in his hands and body, Denizhan has vision loss, Karaaslan has bleeding in his stomach and he has stomach pain and eye pain.    Yiğit also stated that other hunger strikers are also suffering from dizziness, vomiting and insomnia and made a call to the public via her family and said: "Be our voices."
