MERSİN- 13 people, 5 of those were kids, have been in custody for 11 days and 5 young people among these custodies have been arrested on allegations of "being a member of the organization".
Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 13 people, including 5 kids, who were taken into custody with the raids to their houses on February 11, were transferred to Mersin Courthouse today. The children named Ö.Ş, A.E, V.Ç, S A, and H.T, whose statements were taken by the prosecution, were released with judicial control measures. It was learned that Rengin Deniz was directly released by the prosecutor's office on the grounds that he had testified against the suspects.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Mersin Provincial Youth Assembly members Ferhat Salman, Resul Demir, Mehmet Beyhan, Mustafa Koç, Bayram Taş, Yusuf Keskin and Serkan Şahin were transferred to the Criminal Court of Peace with the request arrest on the accusations of "being a member of the organization". While Beyhan and Taş were released with judicial control measures, Salman, Demir, Keskin, Koç and Şahin were arrested on allegations of "being a member of the organization".
