After being taken into custody, Muhammed Yaman was taken to Haseki Training and Research Hospital. The family who arrived in the hospital asked the police officers waiting why they battered a boy in the ages of a kid. As a result of the discussion police attacked the family in front of the hospital. As Muhammed Yaman's mother Güler Yaman was hit on her hands by the police batons, the tension in the verbal dicussion increased, so does the dose of violence. The police started attacking and hitting Muhammed Yaman's brother and mother. Upon this, Uncle Mehmet Yaman, who wanted to protect his nephew and the mother of his nephews Güler Yaman shielded himself on them.
Mehmet Yaman, who was tortured with a kicks and punchs of the police as well as being hit by gun stocks and batons had a celebral hemorrhage and was brought to the Intensive Care Service of Çapa Medical Faculty. It was stated that not only a number of Yaman's ribs were broken, but also a.paralysis occurred on the left side of his body, which still maintains serious.
Güler Yaman, the mother of Muhammet Yaman (16), told our agency about the moments of fear. Güler Yaman, who has been waiting in front of the hospital for days, is still not able to overcome the trauma she has experienced. Güler Yaman desribed the indcident as follows: “When we went in front of the hospital, my two sons were there. As soon as my older son says 'I want to see my brother. He was brought here.' police replies "No, he is not here". "We know he is here, we want to see him" says my son and polcie begins to attack. As I tried to stop them coming in between, they hit my arm and threw me aside. They started dragging the children by pushing them on the ground. They started hitting us with batons. Then they opened my son's jaw and sprayed pepper in his mouth. After the pepper gas, they started yelling, 'Shoot, kill, deactivete him, put on him the handcuffs', and they kick them back to the ground. It was a death blow what happened to my children. They were crushing their heads, they kicked them continuously. And then they started shooting. The gun shell came to my son's eyes. When I threw myself on it, one of the police swore to me and hit me to the ground."
Güler Yaman also stated that the brother of her husband, Mehmet Yaman came in between to protect them and she continued to speak about what happened at those moments: "They took a gun out and hit Mehmet on his head. Then they took him in between the police and began hitting him. In the incident, it was only my sons and their uncle and there was no one else. As I screamed 'For the love of the God, do not do this', they continued hitting and hitting. They battered my son in front of my eyes till death. They hit my kids with kicks and batons in front of my eyes. My children are students. They handcuffed them and made them stand in a line. They took me inside, took my phone, they made me open the screenlock and controlled if there was any record of what happened. When I finally pulled myself together after everything, I saw their uncle was unconscious. My children also saw it, but the police or no one interfenes. As he says 'Güler, I am diying', I called an ambulance. And he brought to this hospital. He is striving with the death now. His left side is completely paralyzed. We definitely charge against all those who made this."
