DİYARBAKIR - Government officials working at the different institutions in the city were appointed as trustees to replace the 6 HDP municipal councilors.
Trustees were appointed to replace HDP municipal councilors urettin Bakan, Halime Bayram, Hüsnü Aslan, Mehmet Akdoğan, Panayır Çelik and Naşide Buluttekin Can who were dismissed from office on October 21. The reason for the dismissal of the members of the ministry council were stated by the ministry to be the former investigations and cases against them. In a letter sent by the Governor of Diyarbakir to the District Governor of Baglar on 8 November, six councilors were dismissed and replaced by government officials working in different institutions in the city.
It was stated in the letter that Bağlar District Youth and Sports Director Mehmet Masum Ayhan was appointed to replace Halime Bayram, Bağlar District Deputy Director of Agriculture and Forestry Fikret Tunç was appointed to replace Hüsnü Aslan,Bağlar District Editor-in-Chief Nevide Çakır was appointed to replace Mehmet Akdoğan, Bağlar District National Education Branch İzzettin Zengin was appointed to replace Panayır Çelik, Bağlar District Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation Director Fırat Batmaz was appointed to replace Naşide Buluttekin and Bağlar District Revenue Officer Muhsin mutlu was appointed to replace Nurettin Bakan.
