URFA - It was reported that the ceasefire is violated in Serêkaniyê and the artillery fire and the perpetual military shipment continues. According to the information obtained, there is a comprehensive attack preparation against Serêkaniyê.

 

It was reported that the ceasefire declared on October 17 regarding the operation against North and East Syria launched on October 9, was being violated by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). It was stated that Serêkaniyê was hit with artillery fire around 4.00 A.M from Urfa's district, Ceylanpınar.

 

 

According to the local sources mortars have been fired and tanks were shipped to Til Xelef last night. The citizens were prevented from going outside or taking photos during the shipment and then the sounds of gunfire increased. The shipment was made to the TİGEM land between Akçakale and Ceylanpınar.

 

 

According to the information obtained from the people living in rural areas, a huge military shipment was made to TIGEM land including dozens of tanks, hundreds of armored vehicles and nearly 2,000 Syrian National Army (SMO) members and hundreds of soldiers. It was informed that there was a comprehensive attack preparation on Serêkaniyê.  

 

Intense security measures were taken in Ceylanpınar and Akçakale districts of Urfa. Strangers and non- accredited journalists are not allowed in the city center.
