NEWS CENTER - The Iranian regime sentenced 3 Kurdish prisoners to death for participating in the "Jin, jiyan, azadî (Woman, life, freedom)" protests.

The Iranian Human Rights Organization (IHRNGO) announced that the Iranian regime has sentenced Kurdish prisoners Raouf Sheikh Ahmadi, Mohammad Faraji and Mohsen Eslamkhah to death in Bokan Prison.

In 2025, 3 activists were sentenced to death on different dates by the Mahabad Revolutionary Court. The reason for the execution given to the 3 activists is as follows: "Enmity against Allah (moharebeh)” and "corruption on earth (efsad-fil-arz)”.

Raouf Sheikh Ahmadi (25) was arrested on December 26, 2022 at his parents' home in Bokan. Ahmadi was then transferred to the intelligence center in Urmia and was not heard from for 5 and a half months.

Mohammed Faraji (24) was arrested on January 11, 2023 in Bokan. Faraji was transferred to the Urmia Intelligence detention facility shortly after.

Mohsen Eslamkhah, who was 16 years old at the time of his arrest, was also transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Center shortly after being arrested. No news was received from Eslamkhah for 40 days. Eslamkhah was later transferred to Bukan Prison. Eslamkhah was sentenced to death.

Human rights defenders noted that all three detainees were tortured and forced to make confessions.
