NEWS CENTER – Kurds gathered in front of the Norwegian parliament building in Oslo to protest the attacks on Rojava, calling on the international community to take action.

Kurds living in Norway and their supporters staged a protest outside the parliament building in the capital Oslo against the attacks targeting Rojava. The demonstration was quickly organized by NCDK-Oslo following reports warning of an increasing risk of genocide.

During the protest, demonstrators carried YPG, YPJ and SDF flags and banners, chanting slogans such as “Bijî Berxwedana Rojava (Long live the resistance of Rojava)” and “We are Rojava, Rojava is here.”

Protesters called on the international community not to remain silent in the face of the attacks and urged concrete steps to protect civilians in Rojava. Speakers at the rally stated: “We cannot remain silent while our people are under attack. Rojava represents democracy, equality and coexistence. What is happening today is not only an attack on the Kurdish people, but also a threat to these values.”

The speakers also criticized the stance of Norway, as well as European and U.S. authorities, calling for stronger political pressure to stop the attacks and ensure the protection of civilians. They emphasized that similar protests may continue unless the situation in Rojava changes and called on the public to mobilize.

The protest ended late in the evening.
