Journalist Doğru remanded under custody

	DİYARBAKIR - Journalist Rojhat Doğru was arrested for 'membership of an illegal organization' on the grounds that he sent money to his friend in prison.

	 

	Journalist Rojhat Doğru, who was taken into custody yesterday within the scope of the investigation launched in 2019 in Istanbul, was arrested on the grounds of 'being a member of an illegal organization', following his statement in the prosecutor's office.

	 

	An investigation was launched against Doğru regarding the October 6-7 Kobané protests in 2014 for the videos he took in the protests and he spent 4 months in Silivri Prison as a result. Now, Doğru, who was arrested for sending money to a friend in prison, is sent to Diyarbakır Type D Closed Prison.
