Izmir Chamber of Medicine: The data we have does not coincide with the Ministry. 2020-04-06 12:51:45   İZMİR - Secretary General of İzmir Chamber of Medicine Lütfi Çamlı stated that the supply of materials to protect healthcare workers are still not provided. Çamlı, stating that the data they have does not coincide with the data of the ministry's, drew attention to the importance of transperancy in sharing the data.   DATA WE HAVE DOESN'T COINCIDE WITH THE MINISTRY   Emphasizing that the data shared by the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca does not coincide with the data İzmir Chamber of Medicine has, Çamlı said: "The most important criterion here is that it may not be sufficient to diagnose the patient only by looking at the test result. Although clinical findings show that the person has coronavirus, the test may come out negative. There are many people tested but not diagnosed.  Therefore, the standards of this need to be more specific."   Pointing out that the number of tests is still very low according to the announced data, Çamlı said: “The number of tests needs to be increased. Because as the number of tests increase, more patients will be diagnosed and you prevent its contamination. If this is not done, people will continue to live among people and continue to infect people. Isolation is very important in this period. There is a need for more rigid isolation in places where this epidemic gradually expands."   MA / Sevda Aydın
