Ömer Öcalan: Hostility against Kurds is at the basics of the state 2020-04-05 17:33:42 URFA- HDP MP Ömer Öcalan talked about the new regulation of the execution law, in which the political prisoners are kept outside the contexts and rasied his protests by saying "As long as there is the hostility against Kurds at the basics of the state they will always try how to end the Kurds". Due to the risk of coronavirus pandemic spreading across the prisons, AKP-MHP came together for a new execution law with 70 articles. Even though there have been many debates on the regulations in the Parliementary Commision of Justice, the regulations has passed with the votes of AKP and MHP.  Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Urfa MP Ömer Öcalan reacted to this law regulation supporting the idea that it neglects the "principle of equality".   MAJORITY OF THE NEGLECTED PRISONERS ARE KURDS   Stating that the political prisoners who are tried to be neglected via this new regulation of the execution law, Öcalan said: "Kurds are imprisoned just because they speak of democracy, equality, peace and freedoms. There are thousands of Kurdish political prisoners. They are trying to tame the Kurds by prisoners and arrests".   THE TYPE OF STRUGGLE AGAINST THE PANDEMIC   HDP MP Öcalan also said: "Thinking that the state will take any efficient steps against the pandemic will be a waste of time for the Kurdish people. By the principles of one nation, one homeland they are executing the Kurds. It is the hostility against Kurds all over again. They are stealing the will of the Kurds by attacking their electeds during the time of pandemic. We whould fight against the pandemic through solidarity and sharing. We should create a communal economy in our locals. In this process we should strengthen our national unity all over the four parts of the Kurdistan. Kurdish people should not find themselves in any expectation as such from the ones who conduct hostility policies agaist them".
